PARENT & TODDLER GROUP
Buriton
Parent and Toddler Group still meets every Wednesday but
now has a new home in the Village Hall. This started as
a forced change of venue due to the refurbishment work
going on at St Mary’s but it has been such a success we
have decided to carry on in our new setting. The more
boisterous toddlers really appreciate the space, and the
chance to use bikes/trikes etc.. There has been a big
increase in numbers with around 12 children at each
session. Numbers were getting to be a real worry when
it was still held in the Seward Room as there were
occasions when it was just my son and one or two others!
I think the main reason was that a lot of children
‘graduated’ to the Nursery and other parents found the
space a bit small for their children.
I would like
to take this opportunity to thank everyone connected
with St Mary’s for their support and allowing us to have
the group there. I hope that we will continue to have
strong links with you.
