The Diocese is considering once again,
and far more actively than before, the deployment of its
increasingly scarce stipendiary clergy and other
consequential changes. In Petersfield Deanery, it is
possible that our group of St. Mary’s, St. Peter’s and
St. Mary Magdalene will expand to include other parishes
but the presence of a priest (NSM, house-for-duty) in
Buriton is not in doubt. On the larger scene, no doubt,
our new bishop will have his own views, which we await
with interest!
